1. Are you a yarn snob (do you prefer higher quality and/or natural fibers)? Do you avoid Red Heart and Lion Brand? Or is it all the same to you?
While I like a lot of Lion Brand yarns, I am a yarn snob. I can't lie. If I'm going to take the time to make something, I want it to be quality.
2. Do you spin? Crochet?
I do spin. I can crochet, but I seldom do.
3. Do you have any allergies? (smoke, pets, fibers, perfume, etc.)
None
4. How long have you been knitting?
Seriously, for over two years. But I took it up briefly a few times before that.
5. Do you have an Amazon or other online wish list?
Not yet.
6. What's your favorite scent? (for candles, bath products etc.)
Lilac
7. Do you have a sweet tooth?
Mmmm, absolutely!
8. What other crafts or Do-It-Yourself things do you like to do?
Altered books, embroidery
9. What kind of music do you like? Can your computer/stereo play MP3s? (if your buddy wants to make you a CD)
Indie rock, punk, post-rock, folk, bluegrass, ambient. I can play mp3s.
10. What's your favorite color? Or--do you have a color family/season/palette you prefer? Any colors you just can't stand?
I love teal. I hate banana yellow and orange.
11. What is your family situation? Do you have any pets?
I have a roommate and a chinchilla.

To get paid to knit.

Alpaca yarn and anything Noro

scratchy acrylic (keep in mind, there are perfectly nice acrylics.

I have not made socks, but I made fingerless gloves from sock yarn. I would like to knit socks and will soon.
