This and That
The site is still very much under contstruction. Right now, I'm focusing all my attention on the layout of the blog, and every thing else is being left by the wayside for the moment. In due time...
I also added my wonderful friend and knitting protégé, Kirstie, to the author list. She's moving to Atlanta soon, and this is the best way for everyone to see what she's knitting right now as well. I read through her copy of Stitch n Bitch (my copy was at home) to try to really understand seams. Yes, I can knit lace but can't sew seams... it's screwed up, I know. I'm feeling confident about it now though, and I can't wait to finish the shrug so I can seam it up.
I also bought a tape measure so now I know all my measurements and know what sweater sizes I'll need. I'm becoming a selfish knitter. I had the good intentions of making all of my cousins scarves over the sumer that I can put back until Christmas. Mainly because there are so many scarves I love in the Scarf style book. But now, there are too many things I want to make for myself. My mom, Aunt Paula, and Nana will probably get very nice lacey things, but everyone else is likely out of luck.
C'est la vie.
