The finished shrug

It was laundry day, so as usual, I packed my knitting along with me, and drove to Mom's. I had just a few more rows to knit, and was confident on my ability to seam, so I packed the yarn needle with me. Once I finished, my mom just marveled over the way I zipped through the mattress stitch. She's always so amazed of the littlest details of my knitting. I think it turned nicely. Not the most perfect seam ever, but I'm very pleased.

The shrug!

A close up of my first mattress stitch...

Before I could do that though, Maude thought she had a new scarf.

Yours truly, modeling the shrug. I just got out of the shower and look utterly craptastic.

Hmmm, now what am I going to start knitting tomorrow?

Cute shrug! Extra cute puppy, too :) That happens to me all the time. I shower, then just take the pictures because I'm impatient.
