It's been a while since I've posted, I know. I've been busy working on the lay out for DriveByKnitting's 1 year anniversary make over! It's almost done and you won't believe it when you see the new look!
Or not.
I lied. I haven't been working on the layout. I had planned on it, I really had. And I will eventually. I've just been really damn lazy. Sorry about that!
I did finish the Wyvern Socks. What fun pattern! I may have to make more in other colors.
Yesterday, I knit the Heart Sachet from the WebKnits section of Interweave Knits Summer 2005. I used some of the handspun, icing dyed to make it after deciding it was too rough for socks. Mitered squares are a lot of fun, but damn there are a lot of ends to weave in. I still have to get some lavender to put in it and seam it up.
Speaking of handspun, I spun the BFL rovingI dyed in the prevoius post. I'd have to say that may be one of my new favorite fibers. I ended up with 175 yards of "The Dark Before The Light" and 125 yards of "Hydrangeas."
There's another alpaca show this weekend and I've been invited to participate in a spinning demonstration else where, so there'll be more pictures and goodies soon.
